Chapter 5, Page 81

The choices for Question 3 should range from 'a' to 'g', as they do in Appendix C (page 418).

Chapter 6, Page 89

Section headings contain incorrect package/class names

Section 6.3.2 should read 6.3.2 javax.servlet.http.HttpSessionListener

Section 6.3.3 should read 6.3.3 javax.servlet.http.ServletRequestListener

Page 91

The answer should read:

... MyServletRequestListener ...

Chapter 7, Page 118

Question 3 contains two identical (and correct) answers. Answer c should read:

c. FilterTwo, FilterThree

Chapter 9, Page 158
Remove last paragraph consisting of
two sentences. Refers to chapter content omitted or moved to other sections. 


Appendix A, Page 404
Many examples throughout the book require the "invoker servlet" to be enabled.
Since Tomcat version 4.1.12, this invoker servlet has been disabled by default. Accordingly,
Section A.3.3 should be added, as follows:
Enable The Invoker Servlet
Many examples in this book require the 'invoker' servlet to be enabled. 
Open the file CATALINA_HOME\conf\web.xml, and uncomment the following entries.:

            org.apache.catalina.servlets.InvokerServlet

          

          

              debug

              0

          

          2

        

  


And 


    

      

        invoker

        /servlet/*

      

    


You will need to restart Tomcat in order for these changes to take effect.

The correct answers are c and e, not b and e.


Page 426
Question 3 contains two identical (and correct) answers. Answer c should read:

The first sentence of the answer should begin "FilterOne cannot be invoked..."
