The text incorrectly references figures 6.30 and 6.31. Should read: ? shown in figure 6.31, is displayed with the COMM_FAILURE. If the login is incorrect, a similar message box will display with a NO_PERMISSION error as pictured in figure 6.30.

Page 236:
The Bind thread option is required for PowerBuilder components only when a DataStore is used by the component. The Bind thread option tells Jaguar CTS to always use the initial thread that the component was instantiated on, preventing thread pooling from being taken advantage of.
